cincinnati is a pb community set in the state of ohio. we are a highly active group that centers around character development and interaction. let's face it, these days comms die out fairly quick, but we are here to make sure that doesn't happen! cincinnati is a thriving community that is driven to create lines and maintain a high level of activity through weekly ffas, monthly custom buddies, and participating in our ooc plot plots [ij journal]. while we want everyone to have fun, you are responsible for interacting with one another, answering most comments, and reaching out to characters outside of romantic lines.
we encourage all forms of ic drama, however ooc will not be tolerated. we expect everyone to act like adults, meaning if we find there is any line-crossing, harassment, and/or god-modding, it could lead to possible removal and ban from the community.
to apply is simple, you must have an ic journal without any extra letters, numbers, or underscores. you'll need a backdated ooc and ic contact post and a few basic details about your character (length is optional), covering character name, age, occupation, and anything else you want to include! while we encourage writing biographies and blurbs, they are not a requirement. we would like to see most of your character's time spent interacting with each other, posting narratives and updates to the community.
examples are required. we ask for a minimum of one scene with five or more replies and two update examples (at least one written narrative) when applying. we'd like to see your best examples provided, as we decide if you are a good fit for the community. based on our evaluation, we have the right to reject applications without answering questions; however, if it we feel something can be fixed, we will gladly pm you of any concerns.
once you are accepted into the community, we expect you to post an intro to
fountainsquare, our catch-all community, within 48 hours. failure to do so will result in immediate removal.
activities are due at the end of every month, members are required to provide links of their character's activity in the dropbox. we should not have to reach out and remind you to update.
interaction: as mentioned, we are a community largely focused on ic interaction. you are required to post in
fountainsquare once a month as well as interact on the friends page. posts can include one-liners or mixed media (instagram, playlists, etc.). while you do not have to comment every post, it is necessary that your character is active and participating in the community. if we fail to see your character not commenting the fp, then we will assume you are no longer active which may lead to removal.
updates requirements: you are required to post at least one update either in your character's journal or in
fountainsquare as well as interacting on the friends page. posts can include ffas, one-liners, mixed media (instagram, playlist) and first person entries such as blogs, text messages, letters, etc. alternatively, you can post on [ooc journal name plot post] to plot any events like parties or group hang outs.
pbads posts: while it is not a requirement, we do highly recommend making
at least one post in
pbads for lines and to getting the community started.
